Today is one of those beautiful autumn days with just enough warmth in the air to carry a hint of spring instead of the winter we know to be looming around the corner. I’d imagine the Iuliano brothers – Rafe, Tony and Vince – spent the early part of the day fishing the surf for Stripped Bass in Audubon Springs followed by great food, family and football.
As for me, the day was spent with great food, family, and soccer. Now, as I settle into the early evening, my mind is back in Audubon Springs and tasks that still need to be done before I can, in good conscious, leave this beach town for good. Edits for THE RIGHT CHORD hit my inbox on Friday. While Vince and his one true love are a priority for me, (please don’t tell Rafe or Tony, but I have a HUGE soft spot for Vince), my thoughts have been focused on another character lately, and SHE is not a brother.
Mia – cousin, friend, and confidant – deserves her own story. She’s stood by on the side lines for far too long. I started writing a holiday novella for Mia a few weeks ago. Only now that I’ve gotten a bit farther along, I’m beginning to realize her story might not be a simple holiday novella tale. Hopefully my subconscious can work out the finer details of her story while I tackle Vince’s edits.
Any guesses as to who might be the love of Mia’s life?
Hi RoseAnne
Is Mia with Daniel? Or are you introducing a new hero. Good luck with edits. And if you have any deleted scenes from RTAS I hope they get posted on your website soon. I love visiting there.
Mia
No matter what I do in the set up, Daniel turns up like a bad penny!!! 🙂
I’m glad to hear you enjoy stopping in. As you know, I save EVERYTHING…so you never know!
I couldn’t remember his name, but yes, Emma’s brother, Daniel! Definitely! Hmmmn a full length perhaps, RoseAnn? Can’t wait to read Mia’s story…indeed, she deserves her own! : )
It’s been touch and go. I’ve tried NOT writing Daniel in and he keep turning up like a bad penny and refuses to go. I’m REALLY trying to keep this to a Novella for deadline purposes, but I don’t want to short change my characters.
